Prayer Before Worship:  O Lord God, may Your written Word give me endurance and encouragement for this time of waiting and preparation. Fill me with refreshing hope through Jesus’ life lived and given for me.  Amen

In Today’s Worship:   On this second Sunday of Advent we recall that the prophet Isaiah declared that a Holy One from God would be born into this world to bring renewal to all the faint and weary. That Holy One was Jesus. And he is born in us today
