Prayer Before Worship: Heavenly Father, You have committed to the Church the care and nurture of children and adults. Grant that those who teach may be endowed with Your wisdom, and that those who come to learn may have an earnest desire to discover new truths. Guide them as they work together in this community of faith, that we may all grow in the knowledge of God and the love of Jesus. We pray in the name of Jesus, the greatest teacher of all. Amen
In Today’s Worship: We gather today as teachers and learners dedicated to continued growth in our Christian Faith and witness. Every generation of Christians needs to be taught the truths of the Scriptures in the Good News of salvation in Christ. Our eye this morning is on the blessings God gives to us through His letter, the Bible. The promises and truths of God in the Scriptures are needed by all people of all ages and all times.
