In Today’s Worship:     For centuries the Christian Church has recognized the babies of Bethlehem murdered by the order of the tyrant King Herod as the first martyrs of the faith.  From the very beginning of His life, being associated with Jesus has a high cost in our lives.  Today we remember those children of Bethlehem slaughtered so many centuries ago.  We also remember Christians throughout the world who are persecuted for their faith today.
