Prayer Before Worship  God our Father, by raising Christ Your Son You conquered the power of death and opened for me the way to eternal life.  Let my celebration today raise me up and renew my life by the Spirit that is within me.  Grant this through  Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with you and Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

IN TODAY’S WORSHIP  It’s Not Over! The disciples of Jesus believed that with Jesus crucified, it was OVER!  Their hopes and expectations were ruined beyond repair.  Christ’s resurrection back to life, however, caught them by surprise.  By the end of that first Easter Sunday they were beginning to see that their hope, their dreams, their future, their forgiveness, their eternity — none of it was over!  Perhaps today you have hopes, relationships, battles against addiction, or needs that you’ve given up on.  The Great News of Easter is that because Jesus lives, It’s NOT OVER!
