Easter!

Easter!

April 12, 2020

    Summary:
“CHRIST IS RISEN! HE IS RISEN INDEED!” Those are happy words, delightful words, promise-filled words. Yet those words contradict virtually all of human experience. All of our personal experience suggests that when someone has died, it is permanent. Life ends in the grave and there is no hope, our experience tells us. In our world things seem to continually go from bad to worse.
Yet when Jesus was laid in the tomb on Good Friday, His real death was changed to real life by His resurrection early on Easter morning. His resurrection gives us hope – hope for today, for tomorrow, and for an eternity with Him in heaven. Only Jesus can give real, solid, lasting hope. Alleluia! Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!

Sermon Text – HOPE when you need it most!
    Easter Celebration Worship
When our world and our lives are in turmoil, hope seems to evaporate. Jesus’ resurrection gives a hope that is certain, unchanging, and reaches through any circumstance to any heart! This Easter Pastor Paul speaks on “Easter HOPE … When You Need It Most!” based on 1 Corinthians 15:17-20.

17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.
18 Then it also follows that those who fell asleep in Christ perished.
19 If our hope in Christ applies only to this life, we are the most pitiful people of all.
20 But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
