PRAYER BEFORE WORSHIP Almighty God, through Jesus You not only welcome us to Yourself, but You have actively sought us and You rejoice over each person who is brought to trust in Jesus for forgiveness and heaven. Give us Your heart for lost people that will translate into actively seeking by sharing Your love. Amen.
IN TODAY’S WORSHIP: The church has “sent” people for generations. As a denomination, we have sent thousands of missionaries around the world to preach. We have sent people to work in social ministry organizations and projects. Today we hear Jesus sent the disciples to people. To homes. To the places where those who do not know the Gospel live, work and play. God does not just send us out to places. He sends out to people. The Gospel is about people. It’s about loving people where they are, in their world.
