Confession of sin does not lead to a prison sentence, but to a life of freedom. Freedom begins with admission of sin. The most important aspect of confession is simply the fact that Jesus postures Himself to give us His grace, even if we don’t have the words to say. We experience His grace as He takes it all upon Himself.
