Prayer Before Worship

Heavenly Father, You have committed to us the care and nurture of children and adults. I ask that You give Your wisdom to those who teach, and that those who come to learn may have an earnest desire to discover new truths to serve as the foundation of their lives. Guide us, that we may work together, that we may all grow in the knowledge of God and the love of Jesus. I pray in the name of Jesus, the greatest teacher of all. Amen.

“Killing It!” is a phrase that means having career success, immense popularity, good looks, and a comfortable living. “Killing It!” is success as our world defines success. An ancient church fell victim to favoritism that ripped apart their unity. Today God’s Word will teach us a different way to relate to others, not a “Killing It” way, but His way.
