In Today’s Worship: It is amazing that of all the honor, fame, and power Jesus deserved, instead He chose to die on the cross to pay for your sins. He chose the nails…for your sake. What amazing love! Today we discover that no matter what your language, Jesus speaks it. There was a sign above His head, on the cross, which proclaimed: “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.” It was written in Hebrew, so that the Jews could understand it; Greek, so that those living in the far reaches of the empire could understand it; and Latin, so that the Romans could understand it. Jesus provides all kinds of signs to let us know who He really is.
