In Today’s Worship

When Jesus shone in glory on the Mount of Transfiguration, the voice identified Him as God’s only Son. What an eye-opening revelation of God’s presence! We do not need to climb up any mountain to meet Him. He is with us, not in His divine glory, but humbly He comes to us wherever His Word is proclaimed. Like Peter, we can say, “It’s good to be here” with Jesus, as He brings grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Jesus is God’s Son, so we want to listen to Him!
