Prayer Before Worship Lord, I come to worship You while I am still troubled by many things. Sometimes in my fears I forget You and doubt Your ability to help. Today strengthen my heart and mind as I hear Your Word reminding me that You always are God, that Jesus gave His life to save me from sin, death, and the devil, and the Holy Spirit will keep me in saving faith until my dying day. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
In Today’s Worship: Jesus’ disciples had a faith-expanding experience when Jesus calmed the storm and they learned more of who He really was, “that even the wind and the waves obey Him.” Storms come in our lives too, and we also respond in doubt and fear. Many people are doubting God’s goodness and His power through the current pandemic. Jesus, who calls us to follow Him with our whole lives, is also with us to face any and every storm that comes our way.
