- WHAT SHOULD WE PRAY FOR
- For everyone and everything. 1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 1 Timothy 2:1-2
- Enemies or difficult people. 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, …. Matthew 5:44
- To be closer to God. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:7
- Pray that all people of the congregation would discover their God-given abilities and respond to Jesus’ love by using them in God’s mission within the church, and to the surrounding community, and world.
- Pray that all able to work would have jobs in God-pleasing work, and that they could support their families and share with people in need.
- Pray that God would raise up leaders for His mission.
