Prayer Before Worship O Almighty God, who pours out on all who desire it the spirit of grace and of supplication: Deliver us, when we draw near to You, from coldness of heart and wanderings of mind, that with thoughts focused on You and hearts filled with love for You we may worship You in spirit and in truth; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
In Today’s Worship: Last week, we discovered how you were created to be loved by God. This week we discover the first purpose of your life, which is God wants you to love Him back. Jesus said: “Love the Lord your God. This is the first and greatest commandment.” Expressing our love to God is called worship. Today we will discover what worship ought to be. You are Created for God’s Pleasure!
