Prayer Before worship: Heavenly Father, as I worship You today, lift up my eyes to You. Strengthen my faith in You, because my help comes from You alone. Fill me with courage to follow my Savior regardless of the cost. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
In Today’s Worship: The REAL Jesus We have grown so accustomed to the story of Christ’s life that there is a lot we take for granted. We view His life through our 21st Century eyes and miss what a radical person He was in the ancient world that Jesus chose not to wield political power. He appealed to a power greater and higher than any government – the power of God’s true Word which stands forever.
