In Today’s Worship

In our world the rich people, the people with fame and influence are the lucky ones, the blessed ones. Jesus came to announce a new and different kind of kingdom. In Jesus’ kingdom the poor, those who mourn, those who hunger are the blessed ones, the favored ones. Jesus turns our values upside-down. His kingdom is open to all people, and yet His kingdom is restricted to those who humbly admit their need of Him.
