In Today’s Worship

We are forever in danger of trivializing Jesus, of reducing Him to a means to our ends. Yet, He is Lord. As Jesus begins His ministry, He immediately proves through His miracles and His teaching that He will not be contained or managed by us. He is God Almighty, who has come humbly among us to do a new work as He brings the Kingdom of God down to us. As the Son of God and son of Man, Jesus intrudes among us, transforming our trivialized church into a place where He shows signs of His glory, bringing us face to face with the living God. We hope you encounter this Jesus in worship today.
