Prayer Before Worship

Loving Heavenly Father, You have given me the Holy Scriptures for me to hear, learn, and take Your Words into my heart. Help me to listen to Your Word to me in worship, and then, to trust Your Word so that I put Your truths into action in my life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

In Today’s Worship

All other religions have an inactive God. In other religions their god teaches or demands, but the followers must work or meditate or build their own way to some form of eternal life. Aren’t you glad that the true God is not inactive? He entered the life of His creatures in order to save us. He suffered, died, and rose again to win his children back! Moved by His love, you are invited into the joy of actively serving others.
