Prayer Before Worship: In this time of stress and confusion, O God, I turn to You. You alone are a Rock and a Fortress of strength and protection. You are a very present help in time of need. You have overcome this world through Jesus’ perfect living, dying, and rising victoriously. And so, I lift my eyes and heart to You. May Your praise be always on my lips, and may my praise come sincerely from my heart in worship this day. Amen.
In Today’s Worship: Do you ever feel like you can’t hang on much longer? Today we will explore some of the most threatening images in the Book of Revelation: the dragon and the beasts. Yet, we will hear, “Hang on!” “Hang on in the face of what looks like overwhelming odds!” Christ’s victory is certain. It’s only a matter of time and all evil will be put away forever. Hang on!
